DEAR PARENTS/GUARDIANS, AND SCHOOL COMMUNITY MEMBERS:

 

On behalf of the entire school staff, welcome you to Grenfell High Community School.  Best wishes to you and your child on a successful and rewarding year.

 

The pages of this handbook are filled with information about Grenfell High Community School.  Parents, guardians and students are encouraged to read through the handbook together.  Please use this document as an “ever green” document.  This document will change and evolve as does our school year. If a policy requires adaptation, or new policies are created, communication will be sent home for parents/guardians and students to read together.   Updated and new policies will be added to Grenfell High’s handbook when necessary.  Feel free to ask your child’s teachers or school administration for additional information.  The handbook contains general information and guidelines for students and parents.   

 

Edbsy is a wonderful tool to keep students and families engaged, organized, and accountable.  Please continue to use Edsby on a weekly basis.  If you have concerns, scheduled appointments with teachers and school administration are welcome upon request.  If a situation arises that requires attention, please be aware that school administration expects that parents/guardians/students first meet with the direct teaching staff member involved.  If a situation requires further support, a meeting with school administration will be arranged.  You are welcome to phone our school’s direct line (306-697-2744) to arrange a meeting. 

 

The Grenfell High Community School staff is here to help students develop lifelong skills and promote a positive sense of well-being.  It is our pleasure to work together with parents and community members to achieve success.  We are glad you are part of our school community.
